cuzco poncho and golden pants

she got green makeup on so perfectly
like a film with madonna
in the 80's
he's got the golden pants
and doc martens
a tattoo on his arm
of a rose garden
how many photos are you gonna take
now it's a movie not a picture

think of
all the money that we could make
she don't care about that kind
of thing at all

she can't hear the music
but she's having a ball
anyways

and i'm
amazed.

they're on
the bus
and it's
getting dark
gonna go see a band
down
in echo park
we can't
hear a thing
but we can dance
can barely see
but lets take a
chance
what do you do she say
to make all these boys just go away
do they know i can't hear a single word they say
we'll laugh about it later
with the misfits and the skaters
whAt does it matter
if we're having fun
she's got a poncho think she bought it down in cuzco
where the water runs wild through
her
lover's hair.

shes got a
a tattoo
of the
mountain
that they
hiked
across and
a beautiful
necklace
that she
almost lost

Her
attitude is that
it doesn't matter what it costs
they beat their chests and laugh / hands like hammers/ lips are clasped across a dozen dreams
from long
ago
